Joy must have been the unofficial theme of a parade held on the final day of WRJ Pride Week. From July 19th-26th White River Junction Pride held events each day, including a kickoff glow party, the wandering paintbrush paint and sip and open mic at Main Street Museum, a LGBTQ writers panel hosted by the Norwich Bookstore, queeraoke and dance party, and a Pride Game Night at The 4th Place after the parade. The event began in 2020 as a car parade to lifts people's spirits during the pandemic, and has grown to become (as described by their poster) "A VERY GAY WEEK" of community celebration and bringing people together"
