Hartford commemorated Memorial Day with a parade and ceremonies organized by Hartford American Legion Post #26 and Jeffery S. Holmes Post #84. The parade started at Veteran's Memorial Park, then proceeded to the Ralph Lehman Bridge where naval dead were honored, marched to Town Hall where the poem In Flanders Field was recited, then ended at the Hartford Point Cemetery. The Hartford Middle School Chorus provided musical accompaniment at two locations.
