Description The Hartford 9th Annual Overdose Awareness Vigil was held on August 31, at Lyman Point Park. The event included speeches from three people who shared how drug addiction affected them, followed by a ceremonial reading of the names of over 600 people who lost their lives to overdose. A candle was lit for each name, as a reminder that their light still shines through the darkness.
